In an hour of crisis, Jesus got up and spoke to the storm as if it were a person. He rebuked the wind and commanded the waves, “Quiet! Be Still!” - Mark 4:39.
The wind and the storm immediately obeyed His command. Then, turning to the disciples, He drove home the lesson. “Do you still have no faith?”
His point was clear, fear hinders faith, though the dangers are real when Jesus is with us, we can have perfect peace amidst storms.

Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God and the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Phil 4:6, 7 RSV).
Be still and know that God is in charge (Psa 46:10).
