In an attempt to get the attention of the International Community, National Super Alliance supporters led by United States Diaspora Chairman Dr Ombura George plan to hold a massive demo at the United Nations (UN) headquarters in New York.
They plan to hold these demos on Saturday 29th September 2017.
Organisers said that it was important for the international community to notice what is going on in Kenya since the nullification of Presidential election results.
“Right now you are seeing the government withdraw security details for Mr Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, unleashing Mungiki on innocent demonstrators in the streets of Nairobi and the president himself vilifying and trying to undermine the Judiciary because they ruled against him,” said the group in a statement.
They also said that Kenya is in a tense and fragile state and that’s why they will be staging demos in New York and New Jersey, at the same time celebrating the Supreme Court’s historic ruling (Nullification of the August 8th presidential election and ordering a fresh one within 60 days).

The demos, which are supposed to end in the afternoon are set to begin at 11 a.m. They will be followed by an international press conference.
The event will also act as a fundraiser for the party- aiding them in their campaigns.
Supporters of NASA in the United States also asked for Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka’s security detail to be restored, warning that if anything happened to them, Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration would be held responsible.
