NASA presidential Candidate Raila Odinga, accompanied by running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, on the 18th of August filed a petition to the Supreme Court, challenging IEBC’s declaration of Uhuru Kenyatta as president.
NASA raised concerns over the IEBC KIEMS kit (Kenya Inteegrated Elections Management System), claiming that during the tallying process, the system was hacked and figures manipulated in Uhuru Kenyatta’s favour.
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission denied NASA’s claims, saying that their system was fully protected and hacking was attempted but never succeeded.
After filing the petition, Raila Odinga as gone to his Twitter page and posted NASA’s official statement on the Presidential Election petition at the Supreme Court.
