National Super Alliance presidential candidate Raila Odinga is in perfect health and ready to resume his normal schedule, his adviser has said.
Salim Lone's assurance comes a day after Raila fell ill on Sunday evening after a rally in Malindi to drum up support for the coalition.
Mr Lone clarified that Raila had eaten a meal of fish on Sunday afternoon and had a stomach upset when he arrived in Mombasa to take a flight to Nairobi.
According to Lone, by the time Raila landed in Mombasa, "his tummy was a bit painful," adding that he had first noticed the problem when he felt his stomach churning in the afternoon.

He was then taken to hospital in the company of his NASA co-principals.
Blood tests were conducted and he was put on a drip to rehydrate him from the fluid loss he had suffered from vomiting and diarrhoea.
Two specialists, Dr Vinesh Vagheela and Dr Swaleh Breik, attended to Raila soon after he was driven to the hospital.
Raila's family physician, Dr Oluoch Olunya, later joined them to examine the Opposition chief. [Rawlings Otieno and Philip Mwakio]
