A Jubilee official has criticised the recent State appointments, claiming that President Uhuru Kenyatta was recycling political rejects.
Jubilee Coast Coordinator Farid Ahmed Swaleh said the appointment of former Labour Cabinet Secretary Kazungu Kambi and Ramadhan Seif Kajembe should not have been made.
Swaleh said Uhuru has failed to reward supporters who helped him during the 2013 General Election.
Mr Kambi, who was among five ministers suspended from office over corruption allegations, has been nominated as chairperson of the National Government Constituency Development Fund.
The former minister will, however, take up his new job after approval by the National Assembly.

Kajembe has been in the Opposition and was defeated in the 2013 General Election when he failed to win the Mombasa senatorial seat.
Swaleh claimed Jubilee supporters in the region were not that happy with the president's attitude towards the locals.
