Kenyans have an affinity for imported stuff, and this is not conducive for building our economy. No wonder the shilling is sliding amid serious inflation.
We should prioritise Kenyan products and services. Most imported commodities have local substitutes in the market. We should halt buying products we can make. It kills our shilling and local industry.
The Government should advise citizens to consume Kenyan products.
The local manufacturing industry is being killed by imports.
