Kenya: Indeed, Obama phobia has crept into Kenyan soil and is spreading like a bush fire! The fear of his coming is reverberating in all corners of the republic of Kenya! From social media to parliamentarians to statehouse, politics of his coming are slowly gaining momentum. In equal measures, his haters and his lovers are competing to pass their points! Everywhere is awash with his coming! In fact, it’s now official that the most powerful president in the world will be visiting Kenya between 24th and 26th July 2015.
Ironically, this comes barely two years after Obama’s government vehemently condemned the elections to presidency of his excellence Uhuru and Ruto. He sincerely hated his foes turned friends with passion! The US government made every effort through its embassy in Kenya to “educate” Kenyans on the consequences of electing a “criminal”.
Obama’s government repeatedly reminded Kenyans that choices have consequences and Kenya must face serious rejections from developed countries if Uhuru and Ruto took the most powerful sit of the land!. Ironically, those whom he pitted will be his host; they will welcome him in the same statehouse he warned Kenyans not to allow them occupy! He will dine and wine with his “enemies turned friends”. One therefore wonders the ingenuity of USA foreign policies in relations to Kenya and developing countries.
On the aforementioned, the US government flopped seriously and Obama should take this opportunity to apologize to Kenyans for misguiding them. The bitter truth is that Obama hates Uhuru and Ruto with passion and that his coming should therefore be construed not to be of good faith! Obama’s visit will never reconcile Kenyans but instead, my crystal ball tells me that his coming will add no value to Kenya and instead, will bring more sorrow and regrets thanks to the rumours going round in the media!
His intention is to force an implant of his crushed western ideologies in Kenya. Nonetheless, since the government of the republic of Kenya has confirmed their willingness to host President Obama, they should also be prepared to answer any damage and/or misgiving from Kenyans after his visit. I know his coming to Kenya will not only dent the image of the republic of Kenya but also his coming will cripple the Kenya shilling and will leave the government waggling in ICU! Truth be told: Obama’s visit will bring to reality the 21st century neo-colonialism in Africa. One question that one needs to ask is: why is he coming in Kenya barely two years after demonizing the current president and the deputy president? Something fishy must be on the offing!

It’s interesting though to note that since the time statehouse confirmed President Obama’s coming, there has been a lot of mixed reactions amongst Kenyans. As a matter of fact, statehouse itself has pre-empted the problem though in part: that his visit will come with a lot of inconveniences to Kenyans. In fact, up to date, Kenyans have not be been advised on the anticipated inconveniences that Obama will pose to our Kenyan soil instead Isipisu has sacred-tised his coming and urged Kenyans to exercise the spirit of hospitality and bear with the few inconveniences that Obama will bring to Kenyan soil.
Isipisu even attempted to make it clear that these will be within the bounds of reason and will be communicated in advance but one wonders, which are this inconveniences? Can Kenyans and investors therefore be advised well in advance? My advice to the government is that they should come clean on the anticipated inconveniences otherwise; Kenyans wrath will topple this government and we shall never forgive them for tricking us! Actually, everything that will go wrong will be directed to Uhuru Kenyatta and Ruto and by extension the US government. Indeed, I see a lot of neo-colonialism playing big here!
Obama should be treated like any other presidents who occasionally visit Kenya. Even if he is the most powerful president in the World, Kenyans have their own whom we respect because he is our most powerful man in the Kenyan soil and within his jurisdiction and execution of responsibilities, we don’t see him inconveniencing Kenyans. Foreigners should never be allowed to behave like Kenyans are refugees and/or second class citizens in their own country!
True be told, no one is against Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) from July 24 to 26. Nonetheless, it must be observed that Statehouse announcement of confirming Obama’s coming has come at a time when Kenyans aren’t quite sure why Obama is coming to Kenya. Many have postulated that he is coming to promote the gay agenda that has seen its backing not only by his government but also some churches in the US.
The USA Government in Kenya through US Embassy and the Government of Kenya should be at the forefront to dispel the many rumours associated with his coming. The government of Kenya should seek a written pledge from Obama that his coming will only be limited to the GES and not any other agenda.
We all know that GES aims at creating a link between investors and enterprises to enhance entrepreneur growth and innovation between Kenya and the US; It also aims at creating new job opportunities for small and medium scale businesses; GES will also further see Kenya sign bilateral agreements intended to boost entrepreneurship especially in the technology and financial fields but truth be told, Kenyans are exhibiting a great phobia by his excellence Obama’s visit to Kenya. We hope that Obama will stick true to the vision of GES and not to promote his western ideologies that will scuffle Kenyan peace.
