Nairobi, Kenya – President Uhuru Kenyatta has today signed the Appropriation Bill 2015 into law.
The Appropriation Act authorizes the Government to withdraw money from the Consolidated Fund for the financial year 2015/2016.
The Act indicates the amount each ministry or department has been allocated for recurrent and development expenditure.
The signing of the Bill at State House, Nairobi, was witnessed by National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi, National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich and Solicitor General Njee Muturi.
