Five people were killed in the county in two separate incidents.
Confirming the deaths, County Police Commander Samuel Mukindia said in the first incident, gunmen raided a residential area at Girftu bus stage in Wajir town on Saturday night, killing a man and woman.
Another man who sustained gunshot wounds died while undergoing treatment at Wajir Referral Hospital.
Mr Mukindia said the motive of the attacks could not be immediately established.
In the second incident, two people were killed on Friday evening following a flare up of hostilities between the Degodia and Ajuran clans.

Mr Mukindia said the two were killed in Lakole village after armed men suspected to be from one of the clans raided the area.
