A striker has been bitten by a military dog whilst playing in Brazil.
The unfortunate man at the center of it all is Joao Paulo of Democrata, who took a nasty chomp on his left arm.
He soldiered on as his team lost 1-0 to Tupi in the regional league Campeonato Mineiro, in the state of Minas Gerais in the south of the country.
After playing on until the final whistle, Joao Paulo was taken to hospital for an anti-rabies vaccine.
There’s no word on the dog, however, which makes you fear the worst…
