According to Kinango sub-county police commander Fredrick Ombaka, the suspect was arrested at the Lunga Lunga border as he tried to cross into Tanzania.
Mr Ombaka said Charles Maingi Mutie was nabbed by the officers at Kagera area within Lunga Lunga on Wednesday.
Mutei has been on the run since Sunday.
Ombaka said Mutie will today be charged at the Mariakani law courts.

“The suspect was arrested on Wednesday by officers at Kagera some 200 meters from Lunga lunga border as he planned to cross over to Tanzania,” said Ombaka. Mutie, 54, is suspected to have killed his daughters on Sunday.
