Kenya Orient feted for excellence in use of ICT

Kenya; Kenya Orient Insurance emerged the winner of the ‘Best Use of ICT Insurance’ award at the 2014 ICT Value Awards.

This award comes weeks after the company was awarded the ‘Most promising Company of the Year’ at the Company of the Year Awards (COYA) 2014.

Last year, the company became the first to launch first stand-alone insurance product covering mobile phones. Dubbed ‘Orient Mobile’, one is able to take a cover for their phone all from the comfort of their phone and never have to step into the insurance office or agency.

 “Since inception, our vision has been driven by product innovation and we continue to ride on the efficiencies afforded by technology. We try and differentiate our brand through innovations to meet our customers' needs,” said Kenya Orient Managing Director Muema Muindi.
