Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo is being grilled at CID headquarters over claims that there was a plot to assassinate Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Midiwo arrived at the CID headquarters accompanied by his lawyer James Orengo and said he will give the police all the information he has on the murder plot.

Six other ODM MPs also arrived at the CID headquarters and said they take the allegations PM assassination seriously.

The MPs present were Medical Services Minister Anyang’ Nyong’o, Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba, Millie Odhiambo, Rachel Shebesh, Olago Oluoch and John Mbadi (Gwasi).

Namwamba addressed the press and said the allegations were serious considering the country had a history of assassinations.

"As a party, we are determined to make sure this issue is investigated to its root cause," he said
