Kenya lost 86-47 to hosts Egypt in the final match on Wednesday night. The contest at Cairo Olympic Centre was a balanced affair in the opening quarter as both sides ended level at 16-16.
Egypt continued with their raids in the second quarter and their efforts paid off as they led 24-14 at halftime.
Kenya’s head coach Carey Francis Odhiambo tried to rectify their mistakes at the breather, but the pep-talk could not help salvage Kenya’s sinking ship.
