Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor has been offered to Manchester United as a solution to their striking problems before the close of the transfer window.
The Daily Mail reported that Adebayor's representatives have made contact with United over a possible move for The Togolese forward.
A transfer to Old Trafford is unlikely for Adebayor as Monaco forward Anthony Martial has been given permission by the French Football Federation to fly to Manchester to sign a contract.
United have struggled for goals in the Premier League but a move to sign Adebayor would be a surprise.
