Congolese Rhumba superstar Fally Ipupa arrived in Nairobi ahead of his highly anticipated concert scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Uhuru Gardens.

The celebrated musician touched down in the Kenyan capital on Thursday, September 3, as excitement continues to build among fans looking forward to an evening of Congolese Rhumba, Afrobeats and African sounds.

Upon his arrival, he was received and hosted at Villa Rosa Kempinski, where he is expected to rest and prepare for the major performance.

The award-winning singer, songwriter and guitarist is known for his energetic performances and a musical catalogue that has earned him a huge following across Africa and internationally.

With a career spanning several years, Fally has established himself as one of the continent’s most influential contemporary African musicians, successfully blending traditional Congolese Rhumba with modern Afrobeats and other global sounds.

Adding a distinctly Kenyan flavour to the show, Ipupa will perform alongside Nairobi-based artists The Kodong Klan. Their inclusion is expected to create a fusion between Congolese Rhumba and Nairobi’s vibrant contemporary music scene.
