Sheena: Tom Ford and Victoria Beckham. I like their simplicity. They are also dynamic in their designs.
P: Gold or silver jewellery?
S: Gold. I can never have enough gold in my wardrobe.
P: Fashion to you is?
S: A lifestyle. Expressing one’s individual feelings, emotions, personal identity and status to what one is wearing.
P: A well-dressed woman is one who...
S: Coco Chanel once quoted that a woman’s dress should be like a barbed wire fence serving its purpose without obstructing the view. I believe a well-dressed woman is one who dresses in a manner that compliments her physical, mental and emotional attributes.
P: Short or long dresses?
S: Both. It depends on the occasion, what I feel and what I wish to express.
P: Your favourite fabric is?
S: I love exotic varied fabrics and different textures depending on the dress I’m making. But at the moment I’m into lace and Ankara.
P: You would be caught dead in?
S: Clogs. I hate clogs and silver nylon tights.
P: What beauty regime do you live by?
S: I scrub, cleanse, moisturise and get a hairdo as often as I can.
P: The cheapest thing in your wardrobe is?
S: Luron nail polish that costs Sh70.
P: Weaves or natural hair?
S: I am definitely a weave girl as long as its quality human hair.
