Police escort Emmy for mega celebrations

Celebrated singer Emmy Kosgei will be hosting a major fete to celebrate her ten-year success in the music industry.

“I plan to host a celebration event in Nairobi come August,” Emmy told Pulse during our visit in Lagos last weekend.

“God has been faithful. I want to use the platform to thank my supporters; corporates, the media, friends and fans for believing me and enabling me reach such great heights,” said the singer who got married to a Nigerian preacher last year.

The singer, who is now a big name in Nigeria walks with heavy police security. She made a stir at a leading Nigerian hotel as armed police officers guarded her when she visited Kenyan journalists who were in Lagos on assignment. The visibly jovial Emmy later invited the team for an evening banquet.
