A Black Wedding As Avril Lavigne Weds Chad Kroeger

Canadian and French singer-songwriter Avril lavigne said ‘I do’ to Nickleback singer, Chad Kroeger, in the South of France on July 1.

This came after a few days of festivities with friends and family. Avril, 28, fell for Chad, 38, last summer when he was helping her record her fifth studio album.

 The punk princess’ wedding look was a stark contrast from her first wedding.  At just 21 years when she married Deryck Whibley, 41, in 2006; she wore a very traditional and classic wedding gown.

The gown was white, strapless Vera Wang design with a sweetheart neck and long train. To complete her look, she added a fairly fary long veil.

 This time round, however, the wedding was Gothic-themed affair that saw Avril wear a strapless black gown.

The ceremony, fit for rock stars, went on all night. Dinner was not served until 1:30am, the cake cutting at 3:30am, and guests partied until 6am.
