Tanzanian actress Frida Kajala and her 19-year-old daughter Paula Kajala were arrested a few hours after landing in Tanzania from their Dubai trip.
The two were apprehended for allegedly leaking Harmonize's nudes and private chats to the public and are due for further questioning on the matter. According to local reports, the mother and daughter duo were taken to the Central police station in Dar es Salaam for interrogation.
This arrest comes barely a few days after Harmonize's archenemy bongo singer Rayvanny and Baba Levo, a Wasafi FM Presenter, were also questioned by detectives over the leaking of the said nudes and private chats.View this post on Instagram
Just a week ago, Harmonize had threatened to take legal action against every person who, according to him, contributed to the spread of the photos, which he later claimed to have been photoshopped.
"Taarifa Kwa Umaa ...!!! Video Zilizo tengenezwa na Kusambazwa Mtandaoni Zikiwa Zinaonyesha Sura Yangu Na Kuunganishwa Na Utupu Wa Mtu Mwingine Kisha Kuunganishwa Na Sauti Yangu Kwa Lengo La Kunichafua Kunidhalilisha Na Kuharibu BRAND YANGU ambayo Nimeitengeneza Kwa Mabilioni Ya Shiringi ..!!!! Itoshe tu Kusema (1) Sio Mimi ...!! Narudia Sio Mimi na Sina Maumbile Yale. (Public Information. The videos circulating on social media showing my face and photoshopped with someone's nudity then embedded with my voice in the aim of shaming me and destroying my brand that I have build with millions of monies. I want to say that It is not me, I repeat, it is not me and my body parts don't resemble that)" wrote Harmonize in part.View this post on Instagram
Rayvanny had bashed the singer, accusing him of sending nudes to mother and daughter, saying it was shameful that Harmonize wanted to date both of them at the same time. In a lengthy Instagram post, Rayvanny termed Harmonize's actions as an act of disrespect to himself (Harmonize) and society.
"The world has it's wonders but I have never seen a person like my brother Harmonize. What kind of a person are you to want to be with a mother and then her daughter to the extent of sharing your nude photos without being afraid of the position you hold in the society?" wrote Rayvanny in part.
Last week, the Tanzania government, through its regulatory body 'Baraza la Sanaa la Taifa' (BASATA), was forced to intervene to bring to an end the war of words between the two.
