An upcoming musician - Happy C - could soon be singing along popular artistes Nviiri and Bensoul.
Happy C, whose real name is Happy Chondo, an employee of the Mombasa County Government, launched a video to his new single Sema yesterday.
The launch was attended by the two Nairobi-based artistes, who promised to have a collabo with him and to help him grow his fan base.

Governor Hassan Joho, who has sponsored Happy C through Zero Zero One music label, attended the event in Nyali. It was also a celebration of his 45th birthday. Previously Happy C was signed under Wawindaji Records where he worked with his brother SD.

Joho said he was impressed by Happy C when he heard him sing for the first time and decided to promote his talent.

“I heard him sing and I immediately called Gates the radio host and event organiser and told him to send him to the studios and today he is here releasing his new song Sema,” Joho said.
Joho urged established artistes to help upcoming ones to navigate the competitive entertainment industry. He also urged leaders to support the youth nurture their talents and make money.
