Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen is talk on social media after he shared photos of him with his father out and about in the village as 2020 beckoned.
With the caption ‘New Year in the village with dad’, Senator Murkomen let Kenyans in on his family and especially life away from the bustle of politics and the daily grind as Senate Majority Leader.
This is not the first time the senator has shared photos of his father.
On August 13, 2018, his father paid him a courtesy call at his office; a session Murkomen documented that they took time to reflect and pray.
“Today I had a special visitor in my office in the person of my Dad. We had an opportunity to pray for God’s grace and guidance in the difficult tasks ahead of us in our different careers. May God guide him in his pastoral duties. Amen,” he tweeted.
