Miss Tanzania 2006 Wema Sepetu has reportedly adopted the daughter of popular actress Aunt Ezekiel.
In an interview with Global Publishers, the actress famed for her role in Pumba Jungu La Urithi said t she handed her daughter, Cookie, to Sepetu in honour of a pact they made while the child was an infant.
“Unajua hata kama nitajibaraguza vipi, lakini ukweli ni kwamba nilimuahidi shoga yangu Wema kumpa mtoto ambaye nitamzaa, ukizingatia alikuwa na mimi bega kwa bega hadi wakati ninajifungua na baada ya kujifungua,” the actress who has been friends with Sepetu for a long time revealed.
When asked what she thought of her friend’s gesture, Sepetu said it was a plan they had mooted when Ezekiel got pregnant with Diamond Platnumz’s dancer, Moses Iyobo alias Moze.
Sepetu joyfully added that she will happily receive Cookie with open arms.
“Huyu Cookie ni wangu tulishakubaliana kitambo na yeye alisema kwa kinywa chake mwenyewe kuhusu kunipa mtoto tangu alipokuwa mjamzito na mimi ninamchukua kama mtoto wangu,” said Sepetu.

Surrogacy
The development comes after years of pregnancy difficulties for Wema Sepetu.
In her well documented seven-year desire to have a child, the 31-year-old sassy model early this year went public with news that she was considering using a surrogate.
“I have faith that I can carry my own child, I feel that surrogate is too westernized. Having your own child that you carry in your womb, the labour pain and birth is good… Maybe I will emulate Kim Kardashian, get two of my own and two from a surrogate,” she added.
