Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo is mourning after the loss of a close relative.
The Opposition legislator took to social media on July 11th , breaking the news to his followers.
Amollo revealed that his sister-in-law, Catherine Anyango Amollo has succumbed to cather.
“It is another sad day, when cancer has claimed my sister-in-Law! You have fought bravely, like the Heroines of Yore! You have gone in Faith with the Lord! Ywe Mayom Catherine Anyango Amollo” he stated.

Anyango’s demise comes just a month after the Rarieda MP collapsed, sparking fears about his health.
He however cleared the air, attributing the swoon to a bout of malaria.
"Didn’t know malaria can be so dangerous! Developed malaria, which the doctors say was starting to affect the brain! Fortunately all is under control now!" he stated.
