The self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) ‘General’  Miguna Miguna has caused a stir online after he announced that he will be jetting back into the country after he was unceremoniously ‘deported’ to Canada a few weeks ago.

Clad in a highly decorated military attire that he said was of a 5 star general, Miguna revealed on Twitter that his return will be announced soon and will be followed by what he termed as the ‘mother of all liberation wars.’

His followers immediately went on a frenzy to welcome him back with some reiterating that his tough stance, vocal articulation of NASA issues and general politics had been on a lull after he left and needed his attention.

Others were, however, apprehensive of his comeback noting the protracted power struggles between NASA and Jubilee and the high political temperatures in the country.

A week ago, Justice Luka Kimaru declared that Miguna’s deportation  was "null and void and of no legal effect" and stated that the Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet, Director of Criminal Investigation George Kinoti and  the immigration boss Gordon Kihalangwa had defeated justice in whisking him away to Canada.

Judge Kimaru directed Kihalagwa to surrender Miguna's passports to court within seven days.
