Gordon Ogada is Kenya’s latest multi-millionaire after winning a whopping Sh 230,742,881 betting jackpot.
Gordon won the bet after correctly predicting the results of 17 matches.
His victory came on Tuesday after the 11th game in the jackpot, Troyes vs Dijon, was postponed.
The delay did not change his fate as the result still came out as he had anticipated.
The new winner broke the previous record of the highest amount won in a lottery in the country which stood at Sh 221 million won by another Sportpesa jackpot winner, Samuel Abisai, in May last year.
The betting firm held a press conference later in the day, Wednesday 7th where they officially unveiled Gordon as the winner of the jackpot and presented him with a dummy cheque of Sh 230 million.
In attendance was the previous mega jackpot winner Samuel Abisai.
