They say necessity is the mother of all inventions and true to the saying, a man in Meru by the name Julius Maina has literally proved this saying by modifying his saloon car into a "pick-up" truck, to enable him ferry his goods in the market.
For him, dreams to own a pick-up have faded away due to tough economic times, and has decided to get innovative with his blue saloon car.
Maina says with his new “pick-up’ he is able to ferry goods to the market with ease and in sizeable quantity.
