We have known her for her music in the past and now we are getting to know her religious stand. Rapper and mother Gloria, (X-tatic’s first name) will be a guest speaker at the Atheists in Kenya (where she is also a secretary) workshop titled godless parenting, with the tagline ‘without god’ sparking debates across social media.
The event due to take place on 24th of September is on raising children as an atheist parent, where she goes on to explain that it doesn’t mean imposing atheism upon your child without options but giving them a choice to believe in whatever they choose to do.
During a live broadcast on her Facebook, she said, “Atheists do not believe the existence of a supreme being. Atheists believe in the message and you (Christians) believe in the messenger.”
She then later posted this on her social media “I reject what doesn’t unite us and it is that simple. We can’t compromise on each other’s beliefs or lack of opinions and even definitions, right? If that’s our difference, and sometimes provides room for negative energy then it’s not necessary (to me) but should remain personal, without letting it affect us. But I embrace what does. LOVE. Only love unites us at the end of the day.”
