Blogger Robert Alai has come under criticism after he made a statement following the passing away of Kenya's former First Lady Mama Lucy Kibaki:

News of  Mama Lucy's death while undergoing treatment in London, was received with shock after President Uhuru released a press statement with the news.

In his tweet Robert Alai raises an issue about ownership of Laico Regency, a hotel in city that was once riddled with  controversy.

His post hoewever,  rubbed some Kenyans on Twitter the wrong way. Infuriated online users vented their fury on him accusing the blogger of what they termed as  “Immaturity and Insensitivity” to the Kibakis as they mourn the loss of their loved one.
