With his deputy Jonathan Mueke in the mix, Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero was treated to a surprise birthday breakfast a week ago, with the communication team that is led by Walter Mong’are a.k.a Nyambane organising the prank, Pulse can report.
The city boss got to the office early after he was made to believe that he had a very early morning meeting at the County Hall offices.
Getting to the office, the secretary was there ready with the lines; “Sir, we have a small problem with the door. Kindly, just head to the boardroom for the meeting as we sort it out.”
And upon getting to the boardroom, the governor was welcomed by a uproarious ‘’Happy Birthday to you..!”
