Last week the country was saddened by the horrific state that Mzee Ojwang, one of Kenya’s most iconic thespians, was in.
Born Benson Wanjau Karira, the 76 year old thespian was admitted at the Loresho Hospital for depression and partial blindness.
He underwent eye surgery which according to Senator Sonko went very well.
The senator who mobilized his Sonko Rescue Team to pick Mzee from his home and paid the surgery bill announced on social media that Ojwang has regained his sight and was able to see very well.
“Thanks be to the Almighty...watu wangu NOTHING is impossible with God. I am pleased to report that Mzee Ojwang's surgery was very successfull. He has regained his eye sight and is now able to see well. Thank you to all those who chipped in...together we have changed someones life.”
