Miss World 2015 Mireia Lalaguna arrives in Nairobi today for her much-anticipated tour that was called off a year ago due to terror related travel advisories.
The world beauty queen jets into the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in the evening alongside Julia Morley, Miss World chair and the founder of Beauty with a Purpose ambassador programme.
Also in her team is the Miss World events director Steve Douglas and Miss World Asia Maria Harfanti.
The team will be in Kenya for four days during which they will carry local programmes for Smile Train and also visit families affected by jiggers in Kiambu.
During the visit, Miss World Kenya 2014-2015 Idah Nguma, who has teamed up with Smile Train Africa since her reign, will be awarded with Sh10 million prize for her ambitious goal. The money goes to Smile Train project.
