In a single titled My Crime, My Cross, celebrated Kenyan singer Wyre is set to feature Fred Odhiambo, a convict who is currently held at the Industrial Area Prison, Nairobi, MondayBlues can confirm.
Also going the same way is singer Rabbit who is working with Kevin Mugambi, serving a 16-month sentence at Nairobi West Prison for drug-related crimes. The song they are working on is titled Dush It.
The two adopted the talents after they got moved by their presentations during the annual Faraja Foundation Talents search at the Industrial Area Prison, Nairobi.
‘The song is a great club song and I’ll do a collabo with him, using the similar beats he (Fazul) just performed with,” Rabbit told MondayBlues after agreeing on the deal with Mugambi.
