A year after Ogopa Deejays terminated the contracts of its artistes, with the likes of Marya, Moustapha, Avril, Trapee and Kenzo exiting the one time East Africa leading music stable, the studio has signed six artistes as it gets back on its feet.

The list of the new signings will be unveiled this week. MondayBlues can confirm that some of the musicians who used to record with the stable have been recalled.

“We cannot reveal the names of the artistes right now but that will be done in due course. Some of those whose contracts were terminated have been signed to other stables and those in our list are those who waited on us. We will sign more artistes with time. We wanted to start with a small number then as time goes by, add more artistes,” said Lewiskko, an artiste manager at Ogopa Deejays.
