It is 6 am in the morning as 7 year old Mbogo with his sister, 6 year old Wanjiku, make their way to school. Following closely and keeping a watchful eye is their guardian angel.

From walking the two children to school to patiently waiting around the school grounds till its home time for the kids, Oscar makes sure that the two have safely arrived home.
The dog has been the kids' ultimate guardian angel and has on several occasions saved them from potentially dangerous situations. Oscar has been known to attack anyone who tries to hurt the kids and the residents in the area have learnt to be careful when handling the kids.
The dog has become somewhat of a legend in this small village and many of the residents have grown fond of her.
Sadly, the biological mother to the kids is still hooked on the destructive habit and does not support or take care of her babies.
While this story warms our hearts and leaves us in awe, it is sad that we are being reminded of maternal love by a species that we humans consider inferior.
