According to one Bassey Essien, he was convinced that an imposter who was living the superstar’s life killed the real Beyoncé. Taking matters into his own hands, he would send her threatening letters claiming she is a fraud and appearing where the superstar went forcing her to beef up security.

Masahiko Shizawa, a Japanese native was said to be madly in love with the celebrity and stalked her from 2002. To profess his love, he would send out letters, emails and pictures of himself with messages like ‘I’m chasing you’. Even after a restraining order was issued against him, he would still stalk her in her two houses and her parent’s home, trying to gain entry.

The talented poet and radio presenter turned singer, found herself in an uncomfortable situation after a stalker flooded her Facebook inbox with awkward messages relentlessly.

“He would make weird comments like that is funny and I would be left wondering what he was talking about or make a strange comment that would creep me out,” Adelle recalls.

Stalked by a man called Kinyanjui, he would call the artist after his performances for hours on end saying strange things claiming that he sold his cows for credit. While on phone for hours, he would play the artists songs in the background and call out the artists every move. “Every move I would make in town he would call and say he can see me, it was very weird and scary,” Moustapha remembers.

Stalked for nine years, her long term stalker would send her messages and show up at random events like the 2004 trial of her brother and a Saturday night live rehearsal where he was caught in possession of a knife and box cutter.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE

He was forced to take out a restraining order against 48-year-old Karen McNeil after she was caught loitering in his estate for the third time attempting to gain entry into his house. She claimed to be friends with the actor and was forced to keep 100 meters away from the celebrity.
