My son, Dr Alfred Mutua has no Luo blood- Mother

Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua’s mother has told ‘haters’ from Western Kenya that her son has no Luo parentage. 

Agnes Mutua said her family was tired about comments regarding her children’s paternity after 

Central Alego MCA Leonard Oriaro said Mutua’s father’s name is Habil Otieno Lut from Kalenjuok village in his ward and for that reason Dr Mutua was free to vie for the Siaya Governor’s seat if Ukambani people do not want him, “because he is a Luo after all.”

Dr Mutua’s mother explained that, “I have only two children and their father is alive. He is my husband whose patience may be badly provoked by politicians running out of their senses. Dr Mutua has been Government spokesman for a longtime and I wonder where such closets were kept.”

She said the rumours were pegged on the premise that, “I had a sister and an in-law in Siaya” and her children had nothing of the paternity story peddled by Oriaro. 

Dr Mutua’s aunt was married to the late Maj John Luttson from Siaya and not his mother.
