What exactly could have lead a 50-year-old man in Bungoma to ‘have sex’ with a female dog? This is a puzzle that police are trying to unravel.
It is alleged that the man, who is now in custody, had befriended his neighbour’s dog for many days before he finally got a chance to pounce on it. It is alleged that a child saw him carry the dog to his house and lock himself in for hours.
According to police, a child raised the alarm and that is when he was caught in the act after neighbours heard ‘mourns’ and ‘funny sounds’ from his house.
The animal’s owner, who was not at home during the time, said the old man had befriended his dog. He however never suspected anything. Bungoma South police boss Limbitu Kirunya said, “We have already taken the man to hospital for examinations. Veterinary officers also examined the dog to confirm if there was any unlawful act committed. All indications and evidence so far show that he had sex with the animal,” said the OCPD.
