The University of Nairobi will soon be offering Korean studies at certificate and degree levels.
The Korean Studies programme was launched on February 21. Chan woo Kim, the Korean ambassador to Kenya, said that the programme will strengthen their relations and linkages.
Fifteen students have already been admitted for the studies according to the Vice Chancellor, Prof George Magoha.
Sookmyung Women’s University and Korean Foundation have pledged support for the studies and students.
