Many people complain that reporting criminal activities can
be difficult at times because some of the common telephone numbers given rarely
go through.
There is a different way you can use to report any criminal
related activity in your area and you can remain anonymous.
Through the Mulika App, you can report any suspicious
activity via SMS for free.
You just have to follow the following steps:
- Go to Messages on your phone and click on New Message
- Enter the SMS number 988 and type in your report starting with
your County Name, Sub County Name, Location and Village then your report in
detail
- Click SEND. This message is free of charge and your alert
will be received by all senior county and sub-county officers including Police,
NIS, CID and County Commissioner.
Your number will not be revealed to recipients but should
you be open to be contacted to aid investigations you can include your contacts
at the end of your message.
