Ruto now claims Raila used ‘organized militia’, outlawed groups in Kibra campaigns

Deputy President William Ruto on Saturday, November 9, 2019, said that ODM's major strategy in winning the Kibra constituency parliamentary seat was through outlawed means.

The DP claimed that Raila Odinga had militia that used the same instruments as terror organizations.

Responding to a local newspaper, Ruto said that ODM’s strategy largely involved violence, chaos, mayhem, and terror.

“The ONLY strategy and structure Tinga's party had which largely succeeded was, violence, chaos, mayhem & terror meted out by organized baba's militia, the same instruments used by terrorist organizations including outlawed groups” posted the Deputy President.

Through his twitter account, the DP expressed his sadness saying members of the ODM party have not learnt from the handshake.

“How sad they have learnt nothing from handshake!”

This comes after Jubilee Party candidate McDonald Mariga lost the Kibra Constituency by-election to ODM’s Bernard ‘Imran’ Okoth.
