The Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) this week arrested a man who was conning unsuspecting members of the public in the name of Majority Leader Aden Duale.
The lawmaker also took to social media to expose the former University of Nairobi student, and urged Kenyans to ignore messages that he is offering scholarships.
“James Ombui Oire runs a fake Facebook page that impersonates Hon Duale. He cons Kenyans by asking them to send Kshs. 2,000 registration fees using the phone number 0720886964 and 0722134712.
“Mr Oire has been apprehended by the DCI to answer charges of impersonation.
