MP is butt of jokes over badly done make up

A Rift Valley MP has become a butt of all jokes after a picture of her looking ridiculous in make-up was leaked to social media.

In the picture that has gone viral on local social media groups, the face of the MP is seen caked up in make-up that look shades lighter than her skin color.

The appearance of the legislator who is doing her first term in office split her constituents with many wondering why she could go to such levels in an effort to appear beautiful.

Those who support the politician however argued that she hails from a humble background, having been a grass-root leader and she should thus be left alone.

“There is always a first time and Mheshimiwa should be left to learn,” said a resident.
