A Rift Valley MP yesterday shocked his colleagues after he walked out of a committee meeting that was discussing a crucial matter affecting his constituents.
The youthful MP who is a member of the house team which was grilling a top government officer over a mega project that has been riddled by controversy, left the venue of the meeting without asking a single question.
Through-out the committee meeting, the man looked bored and most of the time he could be seen fiddling with his smartphone.
Interestingly the same legislator later joined his colleagues from the same region who addressed a press conference regarding the project. All in a day’s work!
