Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) Chief Executive Officer Ezekiel Mutua claimed that he resembles the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jnr, a statement which was positively taken by a number of people.
The KFCB stated that he is inspired the courage and moral rectitude of Martin Luther and that he has a dream as well.
“They called him the Moral Leader of the Civil Rights Movement. They call me the Moral Policeman of Kenya. I am inspired by the moral rectitude and courage of Dr. Martin Luther king Jnr. The resemblance is purely coincidental,” said Mutua.
Mutua said he dreams that one day there shall be justice and equity and moral probity in Kenya

“But with all my flaws and inadequacies, I too have a dream that one day there shall be justice and equity and moral probity in Kenya. I have a dream that one day in Kenya, leaders will be chosen on their ability to serve the people and that greatness and success will be measured, not on the basis of material possession or outward appearance, but by values and the content of one's character. I have a dream that when this new story about Kenya is written I will have played a role in it. So help me God. . . Long live the memory of Dr. King!” the KFCB boss continued.
Ezekiel Mutua made the remarks as the world celebrated the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther’s assassination on Wednesday 4 April.
Martin Luther King Jr. was an American Baptist minister and activist who became the most visible spokesperson and leader in the civil rights movement from 1954 through 1968. He was assassinated on April 4, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee.
