There was drama in Makueni County after a Police Constable shot dead his boss and injured two other colleagues after a heated confrontation at the Makueni Police Station.
According to Standard Digital, the Constable, Friday Barasa on Wednesday shot dead Officer Commanding Station (OCS) inspector Dennis Wanjala and injured two other officers before fleeing.
Police say Barasa reported to work on Wednesday and threatened to kill someone before his workmates overheard him and told the OCS. He then opened fire on his colleagues when confronted and escaped with the AK47 rifle he used.
A manhunt has been launched for Barasa and reports are he is still armed and dangerous.
The two other officers were shot in the shoulder and thigh and one has been flown to Nairobi to receive expert treatment.

Mkaueni OCPD Bosita Omukongolo, who identified the killer cop also said that the reason why Barasa shot his colleagues is yet to be determined.
