Nairobi Senator and gubernatorial aspirant Mike Mbuvi Sonko has skipped the Nairobi Gubernatorial debate – sending his running mate Polycarp Igathe instead.
The debate, being held at Crowne Plaza, was organized by KARA (Kenya Alliance of Residents Association) and was meant to shed some light on what the aspirants plan to do for the most populated county in Kenya.
However, Sonko’s decision to send Igathe instead of availing himself has sparked criticism from Kenyans, with most centering their arguments on the inability of Sonko to attend intellectual discussions.
