The Kenya Revenue Authority's new taxpayer education digital product dubbed 'Story za Ushuru', loosely translated as matters taxation, is laudable.
The beauty of this product, which is mainly packaged as short video clips featuring various KRA knowledge experts, is that it simplifies the whole issue of taxes, which was once a jigsaw puzzle for many.
As a matter of fact, knowledge of tax matters has since time immemorial been the territory of accountants; unfortunately, some unscrupulous ones swindle taxpayers' money in the name of helping them.
'Story za Ushuru' also caters for taxpayers who never have never made it for sensitisation sessions regularly organised at various KRA offices countrywide
