Residents of the rather sleepy Kimumu Estate in Eldoret town were recently stunned following a fight between a local pastor and his first-born son over a teenage girl.
The pastor, in his late 40s, is a respected personality in the area and is said to have started coming home late.
His first-born son who is in Form Four came back home following the nationwide teachers’ strike and befriending a lady in the area.
The two developed romantic feelings and started dating. What he did not know is that the lady was also involved with his father.
However, it did not take long before the student suspected that there was another person in her life.

The boy was shocked to find that his father was the other lover. A text on her phone read “... Stanley anatafuta nini kwako, yeye pia anakutaka (What does Stanley want from you, he too wants you to have an affair with you?) The boy shared with the mother who upon confirmation confronted her husband.
For the son, this was an opportunity to revenge and started hitting his competitor ruthlessly using a piece of wood forcing the father to call for help.
