Police yesterday confirmed that a jerrican of petrol, which was allegedly to be used to raze down Kenyatta National School in Mwatate Sub-county was recovered.
According to local OCPD Francis Mwangi, the suspect had allegedly sent a Form One student to the nearby trading centre to buy the petrol.
School authorities found the petrol, which had been hidden in the school compound.
"We are still looking for the suspect's accomplices. We will charge the student with preparing to commit a felony and conspiring to commit arson," said the police officer.
